My teaser is from a very funny book, TIARA TROUBLE, by Lane Buckman which is a very funny mystery with beauty pageants as a backdrop. Pageant mother to police officer:
“Is this about Harland? If it is, it can wait!
He’s dead and gone, and we’ve got a pageant to get on with.”
I will be reviewing the book and Lane Buckman will be visiting the blog on October 28th.

Sounds like the person speaking must be a beauty pageant mom! This reminds me Michael Caine in the Sandra Bullock movie — “Miss Congeniality.” Very funny.
