From BURIED LEADS by LynDee Walker, an ARC I was just reading:

“My favorite Prof in college had a saying in a frame over his desk: every journalist gets to lead a story with a quote twice in their career. Once when they’re too green to know any better, and again when the Pope says ‘fuck’.”

A student is spending a day in the newsroom. He writes a story that is very good except it starts with a quote. The reporters explain you never do that and one made the comment above. And then said she always imagined it was the Pope was stuck on level 15 of Angry Birds that had him so frustrated.
