WHAT THE CAT SAW

It’s always nice to pick up a book and just know by the author’s name that it is going to be good. Carolyn Hart’s latest mystery is WHAT THE CAT SAW. Nela Farley’s fiancé has died. Since then she has developed a very odd sixth sense. She can read the minds of cats. She tries to ignore this. It’s not rational. It’s depression. She’s projecting her own thoughts that she doesn’t want to face… But then her sister Chloe asks her to fill in at her job while she goes on a trip. Nela agrees and goes to stay at the apartment Chloe has arranged for her. The former tenant is dead but her cat is there. And the cat is letting Nela know the death was not the accident it appeared to be. Nela can’t tell anyone how she knows this so she starts her own investigation which keeps leading back to the Halko Foundation where she is working. As can be expected, Carolyn Hart has turned out another well written page turner.
