Last night I read DOUBLE SHOT by Cindy Blackburn, the second in the Cue Ball Mysteries. Second book is even better than the very outstanding first one. Jessie Hewitt goes under cover for her cop boyfriend, Wilson Rye because there is no one on his squad that can play pool. Of course Jessie doesn’t go alone. She takes Candy and Karen and even her mother! Who killed two people at the sleazy bar/pool hall? You will be kept guessing right up until the end but you will be laughing all the way in this book that you cannot put down. You just read until you are done. And I have to go now and read book number three.
